Support and Advocacy Resources for Harvard Community

Office of Community and Campus Life at Harvard offers resources and programming for the entire Harvard community. In addition, the lists below includes a variety of support and advocacy resources for students, scholars, faculty, and staff:

• Harvard University Police Department Behavioral Assessment and Consultation Team (BACT)

  BACT is designed to provide expertise, information, recommendations, and referrals to those dealing with threatening or disruptive situations. Anytime there is a concern about safety, BACT encourages calls for even minor concerns and will work with managers, staff, faculty, and students on safety plans as needed.
   
• Harvard Anonymous Reporting Hotline

  This hotline may be used to report a variety of ethical, integrity, safety, security, and compliance concerns and may be used by anyone including, but not limited to, students, faculty, postdocs, staff, patients, vendors, contractors and visitors, anywhere in the world. The Anonymous Reporting Hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is run by an independent, third-party provider.
   
• Ombuds Office

  An informal place for the Harvard community to discuss academic and workplace issues and concerns. It is independent of University administration and assures confidentiality

  A central resource for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on disability-related information, procedures and services for the Harvard community.
   
• Office for Community Support, Non-Discrimination, Rights and Responsibilities (CSNDR)

• SHARE Team

  The SHARE Team offers counseling, support, and a 24/7 hotline for those impacted by sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, abusive relationships, and discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation.
   
• Harvard Chaplains

  A professional community of more than 30 chaplains who share a collective commitment to serving the spiritual needs of the Harvard community.
